This month we welcomed Chelsea Lyon to the team full time! Her efficiency in the office and her caring nature will be great assets to the company.
January 2012Two Year Anniversary
Happy birthday to us! We have officially been in business for 2 years. Thank you to everything who has helped us on our journey - you have all been integral to our success. We hope during this time we have succeeded in our goal of helping to turn a traumatic event into a positive experience.
December 2011Annual Training Session
STOP franchisees from across the country spent two days together in Kansas City for the annual executive development training. Topics included effective top down management strategies to ensure optimal efficiency within the organization. The meeting offered an encouraging boost reminding STOP owners of the importance of continually striving to be the best run restoration company in their area
June 2011March of Dimes
We were honored to be a sponsor at the Farmers Insurance ‘Be A Hero For Babies’ Golf Tournament. It was a fun (and hot!) day spent in the sun, making friends, and raising money for the March of Dimes.
April 2011Three-Alarm Fire
STOP was called out to a three-alarm fire in the Mission District that caused the evacuation of two buildings, including a well loved Vietnamese restaurant. We had our teams on site to begin the sensitive task of removing the residents belongings as soon as the building was cleared by the inspectors. After removing all of the burnt materials, we brought in a truck mounted Desicant dehumidifier, which allowed us to have all three floors completely dry and ready for reconstruction in under two weeks
January 2011Hotel Water Loss
The manager of a busy hotel called on STOP after a water loss put several sleeping rooms and meeting rooms out of service. Our technicians were on the scene tearing out carpet and setting up fans within hours, working through the night to put him back in business as quickly as possible.
November 2010House Fire
We were brought on board to help a family recover from a devastating loss to their home and property in a small community of Eichler homes in Marin County. We diligently cataloged and packed their belongings and moved them to our storage facility for cleaning and deodorizing. Meanwhile our water and fire technicians were hard at work removing the fire and soot damaged materials from the affected portions of the home while cleaning and deodorizing the salvageable portions. We helped the family settle into a temporary home and moved many of their cleaned belongings here so they could have some normalcy and comfort during the holiday season
June 2010Apartment Fire
Our team responded to a large loss fire in a 6 unit apartment building in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco. The project was a huge success! We quickly secured the building and went to work without delay restoring the building and readying the structure for reconstruction within weeks of the fire. Lead carpenter/technician John Helwig contributed invaluable expertise and overtime to ensure the project was delivered on time and with complete satisfaction to the customer
May 2010New Team Members
We‘re proud to announce new additions to the team this month! First, big congratulations to owner Nick Lyon and his wife Chelsea on the birth of their first child, Madison Alyce Lyon! She was born May 10th and the family couldn’t be happier. A few short weeks later, John Helwig and Christine Souza joined the company and became part of the extended family. They come to us with more than 15 combined years of experience serving the local community as lead water damage restoration technicians. We are excited to welcome them to the team and look forward to many years working together.
